Job Purposes

Operate in buying and merchandising products under responsibility, including Identifying, researching, and evaluating suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply, in order to enhance productivity in buying and merchandising, following organization goals and profitability achievement

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analyze important data and conduct research on potential suppliers and vendors promotions and other industry trends to support business operation accurately
  • Analyze marketing trends, product popularity, and customers, to plan for product management, and seek for new products within target group interests
  • Participate in negotiation with suppliers in buying products under responsibility to create effective buying and merchandising within the approved budget and profitability achievement
  • Follow up the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery along with communicate status of orders with internal customers
  • Coordinate with suppliers in the field of documents related to organization policies and rules to support effective buying and merchandising and maintain relationship
  • Participate in making reports to summarize overall buying and merchandising to propose to the direct supervisor
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience in related field
  • Have knowledge in Business trend, product trends and marketing trends
  • Have analytical and negotiation skill
  • Have communication and coordination skills
  • Have computer skills
