Import-Export Team Leader 2

Job Purposes

Manage and implement policy and direction development for shipment process, including documentation and coordination with custom agents and shippers, to ensure effective import and export operations, aligning with policies, rules, and business plans

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the development and implementation of import, export, and shipping to the execution of cargo movements for both import and export process to support logistics and distribution, and align with business plans, domestic and international regulations
  • Participate in analyzing data to set up annual budget and directions of import and export to implement and support the operations effectively
  • Plan, examine, and monitor scheduling and tracking shipments to update tracking systems and spreadsheets accurately and within time
  • Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, custom agents, and related functions to receive instructions and support the operations effectively
  • Review and monitor documentation from overseas agents and domestic shippers and receivers daily to facilitate the operations
  • Participate in international marketing and market research to help establish new markets for the sales team
  • Monitor making summary reports of overall import and export operations to propose and improve the performance of staffs
  • Take care and advise staffs to ensure effective performance and promotion preparation
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in related field and 1-3 years of team management
  • Understand rules, and policies related to warehouse management
  • Have computer skills, especially Spreadsheet, Access etc.
  • Have communication skills, especially in English
  • Have numerical and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Be detail-oriented
