As a Management Associate, you will be given an opportunity to handle several core functions in a particular business unit and work with several teams whose members have different fields of expertise during this 2-year program. The program was designed to accelerate your career growth and prepare you to become a future leader of Central Group. Our rotation plan, which covers two tracks – Generalist Track and Specialist Track, will empower you to shape your own future.

Retail & Brands is Central Group’s most significant business, recognized as Thailand’s leading multi-format, multi-category and omnichannel retailing platform. Covering both Asia and Europe, businesses under Central Retail features malls, dominant brands, physical and online stores, and modern retail systems in these categories:

  • Department Store Group:
    Offering a variety of quality products in several categories, such as fashion, beauty, home, and mother and childcare at 75 locations of Central and Robinson department stores all over Thailand. We provide on-site and online channels, as well as other innovative platforms, to address the diverse needs of our customers.
  • Home & Hardline:
    Selling products that meet all the needs for home, which consists of electronic products, construction materials and equipment, home decoration products, DIY products, stationery, office supplies, and e-Book under retail brands such as Thai Watsadu, Baan & Beyond / BNB home, Auto1, Power Buy, OfficeMate, B2S, and MEB.
  • Food:
    Our food business units cater to both retail and wholesale markets, keeping up with food trends and continuous improvement to meet the needs of consumers, with a wide range of consumer products under various retail brands such as Tops, Tops Food Hall, Tops Fine Food, Tops CLUB, and FamilyMart.
  • Non-Food and Brand Management:
    Our main businesses in this category include: Supersports, No. 1 sporting goods retailer in Thailand, and Central Marketing Group, leading retail brand and distributor, with our international fashion and beauty distribution business, operating over 40 well-known brands from fashion, beauty and lifestyle through retail sales counters located in major department stores as well as standalone brand shops and wholesaling.
  • Mall & Property Development:
    One-stop lifestyle destinations and the center of the community known as Tops Plaza, Robinson Lifestyle, and Go!. We developed our malls under the concept of "Eat, Shop, Travel" with the aim of catering to all lifestyles at affordable prices.
Central Pattana is a market pioneer in developing Thai retail and commercial properties, and currently holds the largest market share of net leasable area. Malls & Commercial Properties have evolved with rapidly changing market trends and continue to innovate the retail experience for customers. We develop and manage large-scale shopping mall and related businesses, as well as do collaboration and co-creation with potential partners to deliver novelties to our clients.

You will have the opportunity to rotate through different departments, gaining hands-on experience and a well-rounded understanding of the industry.

The Generalist track is ideal for those who want to gain a broad understanding of the business and develop the skills necessary to oversee the overall management of the business. The Specialist track allows you to delve deeper into a specific area of interest and gain specialized knowledge and skills. This track is suitable for participants who have a clear career direction and are looking to build expertise in a specific function in the industry.

The precise responsibilities of the Management Associate will be determined by the organization offering the training.
