Trade Manager - Large format

Job Purposes

Trade plan – Large format, is responsible for developping merchandise strategy accordingly to business direction, collaborate with event team driving campaign development to drive revenue and also being in charge of gross margin, for Tops Food Hall, Tops Finefood, Tops (large format). This role will support the business and lead to managing and ensuring the accomplishment of a marketing, sales project, and campaign, by working closely with related internal teams and partners (commercial, assortment, product, marketing, communication, finance) to drive business goals achievable towards business success

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop Trade marketing strategy and direction to support large stores / premium format, driving planning, campaign development and communication calendar to drive revenue and also being in charge for gross margin
- Develop yearly, monthly, bi-weekly and weekly Trade Plan, communication to support all stores format that will bring sales and traffic to meet corporate/ Platform target
- Define strategic range/categories which will lead traffic and sales to the platform by using data and customer research
- Responsible for driving sales performance by developing and initiating the competitive promotional program
- Co-ordinate with  CRM team to propose an effective CRM campaign/ mechanic to close gap of Trade plan.
- Collaborate with commercial to make sure consumers and stores input into merchandise decisions
- Responsible for monitoring campaign in each period and taking prompt action if necessary
- Responsible for conducting platform/ campaign analysis alongside the business intelligence team to gain marketing insights.

Qualifications

- At least of 5 years in Marketing, Trade plan, Trade marketing, Merchandising, or related field with experience in driving campaign development to revenue growth
- Bachelor's degree (Marketing or Engineer in any field, economics are preferable)
- Strong analytical skills, ability to relate results to business objectives
- Excellent communication skills are a must combined with a disciplined experience background.
- Proficiency in data management skills: MS-Excel (Professional Level), Outlook, Analytics Platform, Marketplace Back-end platform
- Strong in planning, communication, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Strong collaboration skills and negotiation skills, experience in working in a cross-functional team
- Outstanding communicator with strong presentation skills; excellent analytical skillset required
- Highly organized and creative problem solver with an attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, team-driven, and high energy environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writing
- Effective time management skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills, data visualization, and business sense
- Good professional judgement and confidence in dealing with external and internal stakeholders and different parties.
- Proficient in English (Must be presentable)
- Willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment and experience working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to interact, share ideas and work with individuals from other departments/ventures
