Category Manager_Packaged Food

Job Purposes

Provide support to set up plans and directions to manage, develop, and implement marketing, digital marketing, trade marketing and visual merchandising strategy to optimize profitability, growth and customer experience of a category of products

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to identify strategic direction development for marketing, digital marketing, trade marketing and visual merchandising to optimize profitability, growth and customer experience of product category
  • Implement financial goals and objectives to manage operating performance and budget
  • Develop marketing and digital marketing strategy with brand principals along with managing sales targets to ensure efficiency of marketing operations for a category of products
  • Monitor execution of all channels and performance of the brand to manage success of the category
  • Monitor analysis of previous performance to forecast and plan for sales of all marketing activities
  • Manage digital marketing by providing guidelines on partner selection to ensure effective impact, and drive product penetration and sale volume among customers
  • Manage and develop vendor sourcing process to ensure cost, quality and delivery time
  • Manage analysis of visual merchandising plans to provide guidelines on the plan implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in related field and 1-3 years of team management
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Have strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Have analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Be very detailed-oriented
