Merchandising Manager( Appliance)

Job Purposes

Manage and implement policy and direction development for the operations of non-merchandising procurement in terms of equipment purchasing, and vendor research and comparison, along with facilitate and coordinate related parties to support business operations effectively, aligning with policies, rules, and business plan

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement policy and direction to vendor research to select reliable vendors, and establish and maintain supplier relations
  • Lead the negotiation for procurement price to ensure reasonable price with acceptable quality
  • Participate in analyzing data to set up annual budget and directions of non-merchandising procurement operations to provide mutual understanding throughout logistics and distribution department and the organization
  • Monitor quality and correction of non-merchandise database to ensure up-to-date and accurate database
  • Follow up and examine other income payment from vendors to ensure other income related to the policy
  • Communicate non-merchandise activities to all concerned parties such as vendors and direct superiors to create mutual understanding and support the operations
  • Monitor stock movement and equipment purchasing to ensure service level meets the target
  • Take care and advise non-merchandise staffs and supervisors to ensure effective performance and promotion preparation


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in related field and 1-3 years of team management
  • Understand rules and policies about buying and procurement
  • Have computer skills, especially Spreadsheet, Access etc.
  • Have good communication and negotiation skills
  • Have analytical skills
  • Be detail-oriented
