IT Solution Development - Financial Consolidation

Job Purposes

Control the operations of IT solution and application as the development of mobile and web-based application, including providing recommendations about IT solution and application, in order to provide IT support to satisfy customer needs and support organization’s business operations effectively, aligning with goals, objectives, and policies

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Translate strategic business needs into practical consolidations and reporting solutions
• Create necessary project plans during client design sessions
• Proactively and frequently communicate with customers to build and maintain a solid working relationship
• Tactically develop Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) environments, including outlines, FDM mappings, rules, reports, input forms and security
• Design and build required reports using Hyperion reporting applications including Smartview
• Write and maintain clear, concise functional and technical specifications on HFM applications and business system processes
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Participating in determining standards and best practices as related to the financial close and consolidation processes
• Designing and implementing HFM applications
• Tuning and optimizing existing HFM applications
• End user training and knowledge transfer to the client support teams


• At least 3 years of HFM implementation experience
• Overall 5 yrs+ IT experience
• Advanced analytical, diagnostic and technical skills
• Understanding of Business Intelligence concepts
• Understanding of corporate month end close and consolidation process and actual corporate reporting requirements
• Knowledge and ability to comprehend analytical models and their concepts from across a client's entire organization
• HFM rule logic Experience
• Experience developing FDM mappings and validation rules
• Experience developing Hyperion Reports
• Project Management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working from home & equipped to do so successfully
Preferred Skills
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with Hyperion product family (Reports, Essbase, Planning, FDM, ODI, LCM, Enterprise, DRM, OBIEE)
• VBA, SQL and Python experience
• Corporate accounting experience
• Relational database experience
• Ability to tune and optimize HFM applications
• Ability to manage HFM users and security
