Energy & Environmental Management Specialist

Job Purposes

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor the progress of Solar PV system installation projects on Central Pattana’s buildings and shopping centers, ensuring alignment with project plans, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consulting engineers, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of energy and environmental projects.
• Inspect installation quality and perform system testing before handover and prepare inspection reports.
• Analyze building energy usage data and propose energy efficiency improvement measures.
• Prepare reports on energy and environmental performance to support the company’s sustainability reporting.
• Support the implementation of other environmental projects such as carbon footprint reduction, waste management, and efficient resource utilization.
• Support initiatives to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to achieve Net Zero targets.
• Support relationship management with internal clients, tenants, or external customers to expand project pipeline and improve project conversion opportunities.
• Coordinate and support the design and construction of buildings to comply with Green Building Standards.
• Develop tools, procedures, and checklists based on sustainable building principles, including low-energy design and passive design strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Energy, Electrical, Mechanical), Architecture, Environmental Science, or Sustainability.
• 5 years+ of experience in supervising energy system installations or environmental projects in buildings.
• Experience with green building rating systems such as LEED, TREES, WELL, FITWEL, EDGE.
• Knowledge and understanding of energy standards, HVAC systems, ventilation, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
• Excellent communication skills, strong management capabilities, adaptability, and interpersonal relationship-building skills.
